Initial Consultation

Calling to Schedule an Initial Consultation

Calling to schedule a no-cost, no-commitment initial consultation is the first step toward obtaining debt relief. Ledbetter Law Firm, LLC offers initial consultation appointments Monday through Thursday and on Saturday during the morning and afternoon. Evening appointments Monday through Thursday are also available. An appointment is required to meet with the attorney. Ledbetter Law Firm, LLC cannot accommodate individuals who come to the office without an appointment.

What to Bring to Your Initial Consultation

It is recommended that you bring the following documents to your initial consultation. If you are unable to bring in each of those items, you may still come in for the initial consultation.

  1. Paycheck stubs for the last 7 months for yourself and any other household members.
  2. The last 2 years tax returns for yourself.
  3. The last 3 months bank statements for any bank accounts your name is on.
  4. A letter notifying you of a pending foreclosure sale (if applicable).
  5. A reinstatement letter from your mortgage lender or its attorney if a foreclosure sale is pending.

Who You Will Meet with During the Initial Consultation

During your initial consultation you will meet with Ledbetter Law Firm, LLC’s principal bankruptcy attorney Frank R. Ledbetter. He will carefully analyze your financial information in order to recommend the best action for you whether it be filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, or a bankruptcy alternative.
